AFMS Recruitment 2025 for 225 SSC Medical Officer Posts

The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has announced the recruitment of 225 Short Service Commission (SSC) Medical Officers for 2025. This opportunity is open to both male and female MBBS graduates who have appeared in NEET PG. The selected candidates will serve as commissioned officers (rank of Captain) in the Indian Armed Forces. The vacancies include 169 positions for males and 56 for females. Applicants must have completed their internship by 31st March 2025 and should not have taken more than two attempts to pass their final MBBS. The online application portal will be active from 13th September to 3rd October 2025.

How to Apply

Follow the steps below to apply for the SSC Medical Officer posts in AFMS:

1. Visit the official website: https://amcsscentry.gov.in
2. Click on “New Registration” to begin your application.
3. Fill in all personal, academic, and NEET PG details.
4. Upload the required scanned documents:
   • MBBS Degree Certificates
   • Registration with State Medical Council / MCI / NMC
   • NEET PG Scorecard
   • Internship Completion Certificate
5. Pay the application fee of ₹200 using debit card, credit card, or net banking.
6. Submit the completed application form online.
7. Download and save a copy of the submitted form for future use.
