Central Water Commission Recruitment 2026 for 52 Assistant Director Grade-II / Sub Divisional Engineer Posts

The Central Water Commission (CWC), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, has released the CWC Recruitment 2026 notification for 52 tentative Assistant Director Grade-II / Sub Divisional Engineer vacancies on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis. This recruitment is intended for experienced Civil and Mechanical Engineers working in Central/State Government departments, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, and other eligible organizations. Selected candidates will be appointed to Group ‘B’ Gazetted posts in Level-7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Eligible officers can submit their offline applications within 45 days from the publication of the notification in Employment News.
