The Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the DRDO SSPL Recruitment 2026 notification for 16 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts. Candidates with M.Sc., B.E./B.Tech, or M.E./M.Tech in relevant disciplines along with NET/GATE qualification (where applicable) are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000. The walk-in interviews will be conducted on 1st and 8th September 2026.

Fill in the application form carefully and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
Attach attested copies of educational certificates, NET/GATE scorecard, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates, and other required documents.
Carry all original documents for verification.
Report to SJB Auditorium, SSPL Complex, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi – 110054 at 09:30 AM on your scheduled interview date.
Attend the walk-in interview and screening test (if conducted).
JRF (Physics) interview will be held on 01 September 2026, while JRF (Electronics) interview will be held on 08 September 2026.
