The Indian Air Force (IAF), under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the AFCAT 01/2026 notification for recruitment to 340 Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer posts. The recruitment includes Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, as well as NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch. This opportunity is open to male and female graduates with 60% marks, and the course will commence in January 2027. The online application process will begin on 17th November and conclude on 14th December 2025. The AFCAT Exam is scheduled for 31st January 2026.
