ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 for 2 Senior Research Fellow Posts

The Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has invited eligible candidates for 2 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions under the National Mission on High Yielding Seeds. Candidates require a Master’s degree in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Seed Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology or allied Life Sciences along with the prescribed academic and research qualifications. Candidates with a three-year Bachelor’s degree followed by a two-year Master’s degree are required to have NET qualification and two years of research experience, while the notification also provides eligibility for candidates with the prescribed four or five-year Bachelor’s degree background. Selected SRFs will receive ₹37,000 plus HRA per month during the first and second years and ₹42,000 plus HRA during the third year. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and the walk-in interview will be held on 2 September 2026 at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
