ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 for Project Associate-I Post

The Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has announced recruitment for 1 Project Associate-I position under the ANRF-funded project on MLB resistance in maize. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences with specialization in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Biotechnology or allied Life Sciences can attend the recruitment process. Research experience in maize genetics, breeding and molecular markers is desirable for the position. Selected candidates with NET/GATE qualification will receive ₹37,000 plus HRA per month, while other eligible candidates will receive ₹30,000 plus HRA. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interview on 2 September 2026 at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, Pusa, New Delhi.
