India Post BPM Recruitment 2026 for 25,000+ Branch Postmaster (BPM) Posts

India Post (Department of Posts) has announced Branch Postmaster (BPM) vacancies under the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026. BPM vacancies are included in the more than 25,000 expected GDS posts being filled across various Postal Circles in India. Candidates who have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English and have studied the applicable local language up to the 10th standard can apply. Online applications will be accepted from 02 September to 21 September 2026, while One-Time Registration starts on 31 August 2026.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official India Post GDS Online Engagement portal.
2. Complete One-Time Registration using a valid mobile number and email ID between 31 August and 19 September 2026.
3. Enter the required personal, Aadhaar (if available), Class 10 Board and passing-year details.
4. Fill in the application form and select the preferred Postal Circle, Division and BPM preferences.
5. Upload the required photograph, signature, Class 10 certificate and supporting documents.
6. Review all information entered in the application form carefully.
7. Submit the online application by 21 September 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
8. Save or print the submitted application for future reference.
9. The correction window will be available from 23 to 24 September 2026.
