Indian Army Recruitment 2026 for 70 SSC (Non-Technical) NCC Special Entry Posts

Indian Army has released the official notification for NCC Special Entry Scheme 124th Course (October 2026) for grant of Short Service Commission (Non-Technical). A total of 70 vacancies have been announced, including 63 posts for NCC Men and 07 posts for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel. This is a direct entry scheme without any written examination. Eligible graduates holding NCC ‘C’ Certificate can apply online. Selection will be based on shortlisting followed by SSB Interview, medical examination, and final merit. The course will commence at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai in October 2026.

2. Click on ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’ and complete registration if not already registered.
3. Log in to the dashboard and click on ‘Apply Online’.
4. Select ‘Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course 124 (Oct 2026)’.
5. Fill in personal, communication, educational, and NCC details carefully.
6. Upload required documents as per specifications.
7. Review the summary page thoroughly before final submission.
8. Submit the application before 16 March 2026 (1500 Hrs).
9. Take printout of the application form for future reference.
