Ministry of Textiles Recruitment 2025 for Accounts Officer

The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Accounts Officer on a deputation basis. This is a Group ‘B’ level post for experienced audit/accounting professionals from Central Government departments. Candidates who have qualified the Subordinate Audit/Accounts Service (SAS) examination or equivalent from any organized Accounts Department of the Government of India are eligible. The position is located at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, and the last date to apply offline is 8th October 2025.

Salary

• Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 per month
• Pay Level: Level-7 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC)

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 56 years as on the closing date (for deputation appointment)
