National Biodiversity Authority Internship Recruitment 2025 For 50 Interns

The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) has released the notification for the 6th Biodiversity Samrakshan Internship Programme (BSIP-VI) 2025. A total of 50 internship vacancies have been announced for postgraduate and graduate candidates from relevant fields. The programme aims to engage interns in biodiversity conservation projects across States and Union Territories, supporting the functioning of State Biodiversity Boards (SBBs), Union Territory Biodiversity Councils (UTBCs), and Biodiversity Management Committees (BMCs). Applications are open online from 17th September 2025 to 30th September 2025.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the operationalization and functioning of Biodiversity Management Committees (BMCs).
• Assist BMCs in preparing People’s Biodiversity Registers (PBRs).
• Contribute to the implementation of the Biological Diversity (Amendment) Act, 2023.
• Work with MoEFCC, NBA, SBBs, UTBCs, or other relevant organizations.

3. Fill out the online application form with accurate academic and personal information.
4. Upload the required documents including recent photograph, educational certificates, and provisional degree/course completion certificate (if applicable).
5. Submit the application online between 17th September 2025 (09:00 AM) and 30th September 2025 (11:59 PM).
6. Keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
