National Water Development Agency Recruitment 2026 for Director (MDU) Post

The National Water Development Agency (NWDA), functioning under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, has released the official notification for NWDA Recruitment 2026 to fill 1 Director (MDU) post on a deputation basis including short-term contract. This prestigious Group ‘A’ non-ministerial position is based at the NWDA Headquarters in New Delhi. Candidates with qualifications in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources, or related scientific disciplines along with relevant government service experience are eligible to apply. The selected officer will receive salary under Level-12 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. This recruitment is based on deputation norms and does not involve a written examination.
