NCPOR Recruitment 2026 for 14 Various Posts

The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, has announced a recruitment notification for various technical and support posts on a contractual basis. Through this recruitment drive, the organization is seeking trained manpower for operations and maintenance of vehicles and life-support systems at Indian Research Bases in Antarctica. The vacancies include roles such as Vehicle Mechanic, Electrician, Crane Operator, Generator Mechanic, Station Electrician, Scientific Assistant, Nurse, Radio/Wireless Operator, Inventory Assistant, Chef/Cook and several other technical positions. Candidates with relevant technical qualifications, trade certificates, or experience in related fields can apply. Selected candidates will be engaged for a duration of 6 to 18 months depending on project requirements. The selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview at the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Prithvi Bhawan, New Delhi.
