National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has released an indicative notification for NIC Recruitment 2026 to fill 243 Scientist ‘B’ (Group-A, Gazetted) posts on regular basis. This is a prestigious Central Government opportunity for candidates holding B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.E./M.Tech/M.Phil qualifications with valid GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026 scores in CS, EC or DA disciplines. The detailed advertisement will be published on the official NIC recruitment portal within 10 days after declaration of GATE 2026 results. The online registration process is expected to begin after release of the detailed notification, tentatively closing in April 2026.
