Press Council Of India Recruitment 2026 For Stenographer Grade C Posts

Press Council of India (PCI), a statutory autonomous body constituted under the Press Council Act, 1978, has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’. A total of 2 vacancies have been announced on Deputation Basis (Foreign Service Terms). The recruitment is open to officers serving in Central/State Governments, Union Territories, High Courts, PSUs, and other eligible institutions. Candidates must meet the prescribed service eligibility in the Stenographic Cadre and should not exceed 56 years of age as on the closing date. The position is based in New Delhi, and applications must be submitted offline through proper channel within 45 days from 14 February 2026.
