Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) 2026 to fill 451 vacancies across prestigious Indian defence academies including the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA). The courses will commence in January and April 2027. Both male and female candidates, depending on the course, are eligible to apply. The CDS 1 2026 online application process is open from 10th December to 30th December 2025.
