UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Recruitment 2027 for 127 Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Other Posts
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced 127 vacancies through the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2027 for Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, Assistant Geologist, Assistant Geophysicist, Assistant Chemist, Scientist ‘B’ and Assistant Hydrogeologist posts in the Geological Survey of India (GSI) and Central Ground Water Board (CGWB). Candidates generally require a Master’s or Integrated Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Chemistry, Physics, Hydrogeology or another relevant discipline depending on the post. Online applications opened on September 2, 2026 and will close at 6:00 PM on September 22, 2026. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for January 10, 2027, followed by the Main Examination on June 19 and 20, 2027.
